Key Responsibilities:

As a Patient Care Advocate, you'll be responsible for handling customer service inquiries from members, providers, physicians, and internal and external clients related to pharmacy benefits. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Handling inbound and outbound member, provider, and physician calls in a timely and efficient manner
• Answering questions related to pharmacy benefits while maintaining productivity standards and performance guarantees
• Working with other operational departments to research and resolve mail order and claims issues and respond to members within performance agreement guidelines
• Maintaining accurate and complete documentation of all inquiries to continuously improve the customer service process and reduce potential legal concerns
• Identifying and escalating concerns received from patients and/or clients in a prudent manner to ensure corrective action is pursued and expedited
• Adhering to quality and production standards while complying with all applicable company, state, and federal safety regulations

Essential Qualifications:

To succeed as a Patient Care Advocate, you'll need:

• 1 year of experience in a call center environment (preferred)
• 1 year of experience in customer service (preferred)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to maintain accurate and complete documentation
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong empathy and understanding of patient needs

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in a healthcare or pharmaceutical environment
• Knowledge of pharmacy benefits and regulations
• Experience with computerized systems and databases
• Certification in customer service or a related field
