Job Summary
As a Personal Trainer Professional at StretchLab, you will be responsible for providing one-on-one assisted stretch sessions, leading guided group stretching classes, and building strong relationships with our clients. You will be an integral part of our team, working closely with our Sales Associates and General Manager to ensure the success of our studio. Key Responsibilities
* Deliver one-on-one assisted stretch sessions (25 or 50 minutes) to clients, providing a safe and effective stretching experience
- Encourage and motivate clients throughout stretch sessions, building strong relationships and ensuring client satisfaction
- Manage client care by delivering best-in-class stretching experiences, updating notes consistently, and booking recurring appointments
- Build StretchLab membership and retain current clientele, driving studio growth and success
- Ensure the safety of clients in regards to proper stretch techniques and enforce StretchLab policies and safety rules
- Attend staff meetings and required educational presentations to stay up-to-date on the latest stretching techniques and industry developments
- Handle member concerns when applicable, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues promptly
- Assist Sales Associates and General Manager with studio tour and sales as needed, promoting our services and building relationships with potential clients
- Maintain a strong social media presence, engaging with clients and promoting our studio's services and events
- Clean and maintain all equipment in order to ensure it is available for client use at any given time
Requirements
* Preferred Background: Personal Trainer / Physical Therapist / Athletic Therapist / Kinesiologist / Massage Therapist / Pilates, Yoga, Dance, Barre Instructor or related field
- Fitness or related certification/degree required
- Love of boutique fitness environment is a must, with a passion for stretching, mobility, and flexibility
- Experience working in a fitness/health environment where you provide hands-on training with a client (preferred)
- Ability to create a positive and welcoming environment to all people, with fantastic communication skills and empathy
- Passion to connect with people and help them achieve their mobility goals
- Must have a professional work ethic, be reliable, and adhere to our attendance policies
- Available to go through our 3-day Flexologist Training Program (including 20 hours of online tutorials and 3 days of in-person/hands-on training)
Compensation and Benefits
* Salary range: $14 - $26 / hr
