Key Responsibilities

As an Experienced Data Entry Specialist – Alternate Investments, you will be responsible for:

  • Processing trade deal purchases in customer profiles and identifying/addressing breaks recognized between blithequark and fund companies or transfer agents
  • Processing Corporate Activity Activities, settling/reconciling transactions, and processing/reconciling returns activity
  • Executing analysis of complex/escalated issues, testing/validation of new innovation enhancements, and provider modifications
  • Completing projects in Trading, Dividends, Transfers, Reconciliation, and Corporate Actions that directly impact the Client/Advisor profile
  • Engaging with Retail and Institutional Service Teams via email, phone, Slack, Overview, and Salesforce
  • Interacting with and embodying blithequark's standards in daily connections with fund companies, transfer agents, opposite agencies, and other external business partners

Duties Analysis

* Reviewing subscription deals or transfer requests

  • Identifying and addressing Client/Advisor account exceptions
  • Ensuring regulatory compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Reconciling Business, Dividend, and Transactions Breaks
  • Reconciling across BOS and Fund Companies
  • Reviewing and analyzing correct tax coding and correcting tax coding errors
  • Troubleshooting internal/external system improvements or concerns
  • Identifying the root cause of breaks between blithequark, the Fund, etc.
  • Providing method or innovation service alternatives to Management
  • Remediating transfer issues with the Fund or Opposite Firm
  • Providing follow-up on Substitute Expenditure moves to expedite the customer demand or remediate not neat issues
  • Prompt and accurate finalization of client investing and dividend demands

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

  • 1-2 years of experience in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Familiarity with Salesforce and other CRM systems a plus
  • Ability to learn and adapt to new systems and processes quickly

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in Alternate Investments

  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance (e.g., 2340 and 15C3-3)
  • Familiarity with tax coding and reconciliation
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)
  • Certification in data entry, reconciliation, or a related field (e.g., Certified Data Entry Specialist, Certified Reconciliation Specialist)
