Position Summary

The Technology Education Teacher will be responsible for designing and delivering effective instruction within the manufacturing, engineering, and materials and design courses. You will provide leadership in the school's use of instructional technology resources to enhance student learning and positively engage teachers, students, and families in the learning process. Your ability to collaborate with colleagues to improve learning for all students and use data to make instructional decisions will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Curriculum Development: Design and develop curriculum for manufacturing, engineering, and materials and design courses that align with industry standards and best practices.

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as education, engineering, or technology, is required.
  • Teaching Experience: Prior teaching experience, preferably in a CTE setting, is highly desirable.
  • Industry Expertise: Demonstrated expertise in manufacturing, engineering, and materials and design is essential, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate students, teachers, and families.
