Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and assess customers' needs to achieve satisfaction and build sustainable relationships through open and interactive communication
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods and tools to meet personal and customer service team sales targets and call handling quotas
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, and follow up to ensure resolution
  • Keep records of customer interactions, process customer accounts, and file documents in accordance with company procedures and guidelines
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines, and policies to ensure consistency and quality of service
  • Take the extra mile to engage customers and provide exceptional service that exceeds their expectations

Essential Qualifications

  • 3+ years of customer service and project management experience, with a preference for experience within the furniture industry
  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative, with a track record of over-achieving quota
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening, with excellent communication and presentation skills
  • Familiarity with project management systems and practices, with the ability to adapt and respond to different types of characters and situations
  • High school degree, with hospitality industry experience and QuickBooks experience preferred

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment, with a strong focus on quality and customer satisfaction
  • Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) software and other customer service tools and technologies
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
