Job Summary

As a Part-Time Customer Support Representative, you will be the primary point of contact for our clients, providing exceptional service and support at the ticket counter, baggage claim, and other areas of the airport. You will be responsible for handling a wide range of customer inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a seamless travel experience for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide friendly and courteous service to all internal and external clients, ensuring a positive and memorable experience.

  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Handle all aspects of check-in and baggage processing, including working with a modernized retail location system.
  • Manage cash, checks, credit cards, travel vouchers, and coupons as forms of payment for tickets.
  • Calculate charges, make change, and balance daily transactions.
  • Investigate and resolve issues related to oversold or cancelled flights, lost or damaged baggage, and other customer complaints.
  • Provide accurate and up-to-date information on flight schedules, fares, and other travel-related topics.
  • Complete forms and reports as required by the organization.
  • Write incident and complaint reports as necessary.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as directed by supervisors.

Essential Qualifications

* Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • Ability to type and use a computer keyboard with sufficient speed to meet the demands of the job.
  • Willingness to learn and understand tagging procedures, rules, and regulations.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others as part of a team, meet the public, and work under stressful circumstances.
  • Ability to complete the Customer Support Specialist training program with an 80% or higher average and pass the assessment period.
  • Familiarity with hazardous situations and ability to handle crises on a case-by-case basis.
  • Ability to work under tight time constraints to achieve fast turnarounds of aircraft.
  • Ability to maintain a well-groomed appearance in accordance with the Ground Tasks Worker Handbook and Work Schedule.
  • Ability to perform all job duties within a confined space.
  • Ability to communicate verbally by phone, in person, and on public address systems.

* Previous customer service experience in a fast-paced environment.
