As a Senior Product Designer on our Customer Experience & Integrity (CXI) Design team, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience across our marketplace, working closely with cross-functional teams to craft innovative solutions that delight and empower our users.

About the Role

As a Senior Product Designer on our CXI Design team, you'll focus on designing and enhancing the customer-facing user experience across all sides of our marketplace – consumer, merchant, and Dasher. You'll dive deep into the journeys of our users, identifying pain points and opportunities to create seamless, intuitive, and delightful experiences that drive customer satisfaction and business metrics. Your expertise in design thinking, creativity, and innovation will help bridge gaps in our user experience, making blithequark a trusted partner for our users.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the user experience of products end-to-end, contributing to product strategy, running design sprints, and crafting visions that drive business outcomes
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product managers, engineers, and other disciplines to build and ship designs that meet user needs and business objectives
• Develop and refine clear storytelling around product needs and opportunities, ensuring that design solutions are informed by user research and business goals
• Create, collaborate, and refine flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity visuals that bring our product vision to life
• Design and ship high-quality product improvements that enhance the user experience and drive business metrics

What We're Looking For

We're seeking a senior-level IC with 5+ years of work experience in product design, with a passion for leading product strategy and vision for new product areas. You should be a master of the design process, with expertise in complex problem spaces and the ability to bring clarity to your teams through design sprints and thoughtful communication.

Essential Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in product design, with a focus on customer experience and user-centered design
• Portfolio that showcases your expertise in design thinking, creativity, and innovation
• Strong understanding of design principles, human-centered design, and user experience best practices
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
• Experience with design tools such as Sketch, Figma, Adobe XD, and InVision

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience designing for multiple platforms, including web, mobile, and tablet
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and design sprints
• Experience with user research and testing, including usability testing and A/B testing
• Knowledge of front-end development principles and technologies, such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive compensation package, including:

• A location-specific base salary range, with opportunities for bonuses and equity grants

The location-specific base salary range for this position is:

• California: $152,000 - $228,000 USD
• New York: $152,000 - $228,000 USD
• Washington: $152,000 - $228,000 USD
