*************************** Job description Position: Content Creator Company Overview: GunfightersINC is an American owned and operated holster manufacturer. Our flagship product, The Kenai, is the original chest holster. We try to focus our marketing on outdoor sports like Mountain-biking, Moto, Fishing, Hunting, Hiking etc. However, we sell more than holsters, teaming up with charitable organizations, attending events, having a pro-shop, selling merchandise and more. We are dedicated to having the highest quality products on the market, having every holster hand made here in the US of A. We are looking for someone who is skilled in social media and video production who can create content that reflects our products. Job Summary: As a Content Creator you will play a crucial role in shaping our brand's online presence and strengthening our community. You will be responsible for developing a wide range of content in the form of videography/photography/editing. From framing wilderness landscapes with our products to studio lighting and informative graphics/reviews. The ideal candidate is well-versed in firearms-related topics, understands responsible gun ownership and the culture surrounding it. Skills Needed: Producing: The ability to create Social Media content daily and be CREATIVE. We are always looking for new ideas and encourage this way of thinking. This involves writing scripts for short form content, making the calls to get things set up, creating a schedule for yourself, getting the people together and all things necessary to produce a video. Videography/Photography: Understand how to use a camera fully and shoot great video. Log profiles, shutter rates/frame rates/native ISO/Peaking/White Balance/Waveform. These are terms you should know and be comfortable with. Being able to set up meaningful composition, and basic rules of framing. Able to set up microphones on multiple people and monitor audio levels properly in the field and in the studio. Editing: Must have experience in editing. We currently use Davinci Resolve Studio for video and Adobe for GFX. But Premier Pro experience is just fine if you are willing to transition to Davinci. (We can help teach you, as it is mostly the same concepts.) Color Grading, Audio Mixing, sound design, and basic editing techniques. As well as knowledge of codecs and the ability to create timelines in a multiple formats and resolutions. Familiarity with proper naming conventions of projects and media storage aka filing all media properly for later use in our archive. Know how to source clips from the internet and audio from 3rd party websites such as epidemic sound, or artlist. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all content adheres to legal guidelines, promotes responsible gun ownership, and prioritizes safety at all times. Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, new products, and relevant news to create timely and relevant content. Requirements: Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a content creator in the firearms industry, with a portfolio showcasing diverse content formats. Education is one thing but work is another. A good reel goes a long way. Excellent Writing: Exceptional writing skills with a focus on accuracy, clarity, and engaging storytelling. Multimedia Proficiency: Proficient in photography, videography, and graphic design tools to create visually appealing content.
