Key Responsibilities

As a Chat Support Associate, you will be responsible for engaging with our vibrant community of veterinary professionals through live chats, phone calls, emails, internal discussion boards, and platform demos. Your primary goal will be to provide an excellent experience for every user, ensuring that they feel supported and empowered to succeed in their critical purchasing decisions and processes. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to live chats and phone calls in a timely and professional manner, providing accurate and helpful information to users
  • Troubleshooting issues and resolving problems in a patient and compassionate manner
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to help evolve our platform and improve the user experience
  • Providing platform demos and training to users, ensuring they are comfortable and confident in using our platform
  • Staying up-to-date with platform updates and changes, and communicating these changes to users as needed
  • Participating in ongoing training and development to improve your skills and knowledge

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • 1 year of relevant, customer-facing work experience
  • 2 Year Associate's Degree or 4 Year College Degree
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Experience in chat support is preferred, but not required
  • Patience and compassion when handling difficult situations
  • Ability to adapt quickly and manage many concurrent responsibilities
  • A strong desire to learn and help our customers succeed
  • A positive attitude and one-for-all team mentality, with excellent collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Experience in a tech or start-up environment
  • Knowledge of intercom and/or experience with other chat platforms
  • A strong understanding of the veterinary industry and its challenges
