About the Role

As a Work from Home Banking Credit Card Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you'll be the primary point of contact for our clients' card holders, addressing their payment and account-related requests, and providing timely and effective solutions. You'll work with a limited number of assigned clients, developing a strong understanding of their products, policies, and procedures, as well as association guidelines and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Resolve basic or tier 1 payment and account-related requests, including card activations, payments, name and address updates, and other customer inquiries.
  • Utilize user-friendly Graphic User Interface (GUI) screens and established documentation to provide standardized or scripted responses to customer inquiries.
  • Enter required data into client-provided systems and databases, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Determine basic reasons for customer issues using a client-provided decision tree and escalate or refer unresolved customer grievances and requests to more experienced Customer Service Representatives or designated departments.
  • Develop base knowledge and familiarization of products, policies, and procedures for assigned clients, as well as association guidelines and compliance requirements.

Minimum Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • A minimum of six months of contact center or work from contact center experience in the last 18 months
  • Flexibility to work mid-shift to late shifts, including weekends, as part of your weekly schedule
  • Ability to be on camera at all times during work hours
  • US-based residency

The pay for this role is $15.00 per hour, and it's an entry-level position with non-negotiable compensation. While bonuses are not eligible for this role, you'll have opportunities for career growth and professional development within blithequark.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications are highly preferred:

  • 12 months of contact center or work from contact center experience in the last 18 months
  • Banking customer service experience

Having a background in banking customer service will give you a competitive edge, but it's not a requirement. We're committed to providing comprehensive training and support to ensure your success in this role.
