Shape the user experience of Europe’s first AI-native energy supplier

Energy markets are volatile, complex, and still running on outdated systems. At Zeus Energy, we are creating the first AI-native full-stack energy supplier—a digital-first platform that helps businesses buy, manage, and optimize their energy with intelligence, speed, and transparency.

We are backed by Merantix, Europe’s leading AI venture studio. Joining Zeus at this early stage means designing from a true blank canvas: you’ll define how businesses will experience the next generation of energy supply—working directly with our team and with design partner customers.

We are looking for an experienced UI/UX Designer (freelancer) who can take ownership of design at Zeus from day one:

• Lead the design of our MVP, from user research and wireframes to high-fidelity interfaces.

• Build intuitive, modern user journeys for SMEs managing energy for the first time with enterprise-grade tools.

• Collaborate directly with founders, engineers, and early customers to rapidly test, refine, and implement designs.

• Establish our design system and visual identity in close alignment with product and brand.

• Translate complex data and workflows into clear, actionable, and delightful user experiences.

• 3+ years of experience in UI/UX design for digital products (B2B SaaS or fintech/energy a strong plus).

• Proven ability to turn complexity into simplicity.

• Strong skills in Figma (or similar tools), prototyping, and user testing.

• Comfortable engaging directly with customers and incorporating feedback.

• Pragmatic, iterative, and motivated by designing solutions that truly matter.

• Fluent in English (our team language); German a plus.

• Impact: Shape the product experience at a decisive early stage.
