Position Overview

As a Customer Service Representative with blithequark, you will be responsible for handling customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat. You will assist customers with order placements, returns, and refunds, troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively, and provide information about products and services. You will also have the opportunity to upsell and cross-sell additional products, maintain detailed and accurate customer records, and collaborate with other team members to achieve company goals.

Responsibilities

* Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and chat

  • Assist customers with order placements, returns, and refunds
  • Troubleshoot and resolve customer issues effectively
  • Provide information about products and services
  • Upsell and cross-sell additional products
  • Maintain detailed and accurate customer records
  • Collaborate with other team members to achieve company goals
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to improve customer service skills and knowledge
  • Meet or exceed performance metrics and quality standards
  • Work collaboratively with other teams, such as sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure seamless customer experiences

Requirements

* Fluency in English (both written and verbal)

  • Previous customer service experience is preferred, but not required
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Proficient computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
  • Home office setup with a reliable internet connection
  • A quiet and distraction-free workspace
  • Availability to work flexible schedules, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive customer information

Essential Qualifications

* High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or retail environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers and colleagues
  • Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate with others to achieve common goals
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Ability to learn new systems and software quickly

Preferred Qualifications

* Previous experience working in a remote or work-from-home environment

  • Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software
  • Knowledge of e-commerce platforms and online shopping experiences
  • Experience with sales and upselling techniques
  • Certification in customer service or a related field
