Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Call Center/Customer Service Representative to work remotely on a full-time basis. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and providing exceptional service to our clients. This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity with a competitive hourly rate of $16/hr on W2, and the chance to work with a dynamic team in a 100% remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to customer inquiries received by telephone, Interactive Voice Response (IVR), or web-based portal regarding information on programs and services
  • Record customer interactions and transactions, documenting details of inquiries, complaints, comments, and actions taken
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy in all customer interactions
  • Address customer inquiries and resolve problems to ensure that appropriate changes are made
  • Refer unresolved customer grievances to designated departments for further investigation
  • Communicate with supervisor regarding any potential needs or concerns
  • Perform data entry accurately and efficiently
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree is preferred
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of all information
  • Ability to comply with current and updated policies and procedures
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to interact courteously and effectively with a diverse population; cultural competency
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position for an extended period of time

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1 year of experience in customer service
  • 1 year of experience with phone etiquette (inbound/outbound calling)
