About the Role: Data Entry Clerk

We are seeking detail-oriented and organized individuals to join our team as Data Entry Clerks. This remote position offers the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home while contributing to a leading healthcare company. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our patient records and other essential data. You will be responsible for accurately inputting and managing important data, ensuring it meets our standards and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Input and update data into databases and customer management systems with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Verify the accuracy of data before it is entered, and review data for discrepancies to resolve any issues promptly.
  • Follow data program techniques and procedures for data entry, and maintain confidentiality and security of all sensitive information.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and consistency, and attend regular training sessions and team meetings.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word, to perform data entry tasks and generate reports.
  • Develop and implement data quality control processes to ensure accuracy and completeness of data.
  • Provide support to other teams by responding to data-related queries and resolving issues in a timely manner.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in data entry or related fields is a plus.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, with excellent typing skills (minimum 60 words per minute).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word; experience with data management systems is an advantage.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Reliable internet connection and a quiet workspace; ability to work in a distraction-free environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior data entry experience is an advantage, but not required; experience in healthcare or related fields is a plus.
  • Familiarity with data management systems and software applications; experience with database management is an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment.
