Key Responsibilities

• Lead and develop teams effectively by teaching, training, and actively listening to associates, touring stores, and providing feedback (Tour-to-Teach)
• Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology, business initiatives, merchandising, and company direction
• Introduce and lead company change efforts, providing clear expectations and guidance to implement business solutions
• Model and demonstrate exceptional customer service standards to store associates, following and demonstrating the One Best Way (OBW) service model
• Manage and support customer service initiatives, ensuring customer needs, complaints, and issues are successfully resolved
• Drive financial performance and sales growth by reviewing and evaluating P&L statements, managing budgets, forecasting, and controlling expenses
• Provide supervision and development opportunities for hourly associates, including hiring, training, mentoring, and recognizing associates
• Coordinate, complete, and oversee job-related activities and assignments, developing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, supporting company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to meet the following minimum qualifications:

• 2 years of college
• 1 year of retail experience and 1 year of supervisory experience
• 2 years of general work experience and 1 year of supervisory experience

Additionally, for facilities that sell firearms, you must be willing to complete a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training. For facilities that sell only ammunition and have state-specific requirements, you may need to obtain a current state-issued Certificate of Eligibility.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
• Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing
