About the Role

As a Coach/Operations Manager Trainee, you'll embark on a comprehensive development program designed to equip you with the skills, knowledge, and expertise needed to excel in retail leadership. You'll work closely with our experienced store teams to drive sales growth, improve customer satisfaction, and develop the next generation of retail leaders.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and Develop Teams: Teach, train, and mentor associates to achieve exceptional customer service standards and drive business results.
• Customer Service Excellence: Model and demonstrate the One Best Way (OBW) service model, manage customer service initiatives, and ensure customer needs are successfully resolved.
• Drive Financial Performance: Review and evaluate P&L statements, manage budgeting and forecasting, and control expenses to achieve sales and profit goals.
• Associate Development: Hire, train, and mentor hourly associates, providing supervision and development opportunities to drive talent growth.
• Operational Excellence: Coordinate and complete job-related activities, develop relationships with key stakeholders, and identify opportunities for process improvement.
• Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, and support company mission, values, and standards of ethics and integrity.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• 2 years of college; OR
• 1 year's retail experience and 1 year's supervisory experience; OR
• 2 years' general work experience and 1 year's supervisory experience.

For facilities that sell firearms, you'll be required to successfully complete a firearms-specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.

Preferred Qualifications

To stand out as a candidate, you'll ideally have:

• Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
• General work experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
