About the Role

As a Senior Microsoft Software Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, developing, and delivering high-quality software solutions that meet the evolving needs of our clients. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to identify customer requirements, develop technical solutions, and drive the implementation of scalable, efficient, and reliable software systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to determine customer needs and develop technical solutions to meet those needs.
  • Design, develop, test, and maintain high-quality software applications, services, and platforms using a range of programming languages, including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Drive the identification of requirements and development of design documents for products, applications, services, or platforms.
  • Implement, optimize, troubleshoot, refactor, and reuse code to establish and improve performance, effectiveness, and return on investment (ROI).
  • Leverage technical expertise to drive project plans, release plans, and work items, working closely with project managers and other stakeholders.
  • Act as a Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) and guide other engineers by developing and following playbooks, managing on-call systems, and driving resolution of complex issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and best practices, applying this knowledge to improve the availability, reliability, efficiency, visibility, and performance of our products and services.

Essential Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
  • At least 4 years of experience in software engineering, with a focus on coding in languages such as C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience as a full-stack developer, working on both client-side code and building scalable services.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering or a related field, combined with 8+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • A Graduate degree in Software Engineering or a related field, with 3+ years of experience in software engineering.
  • Experience with Open-Source Programming.
  • The ability to collaborate effectively with remote teams.
  • Familiarity with technologies such as ReactJS, Angular, TypeScript, Webpack, and .Net Core.

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess:

  • Strong programming skills in a range of languages, including C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, and Python.
  • Experience with full-stack development, including client-side code and scalable services.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • A passion for staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends, and applying this knowledge to drive innovation.
