We're seeking an experienced Educational Support Professional (ESP) - Clerical to join our team in the main office, playing a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our school.

About the Role

This is a part-time, school-year position with a work schedule of 7:00 am - 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday. As an ESP - Clerical, you will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, providing exceptional administrative support to our Counseling and Student Services departments, as well as the school administration.

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet visitors and respond to inquiries related to the administrative functions of the school
  • Receive and direct incoming calls from students, parents, and staff as needed
  • Provide administrative support to AESPs and Administration, including filing, data entry, and records organization
  • Locate students, write passes, and assign student helpers to deliver messages or materials in the event of a problem, concern, or emergency
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by the administration

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must possess:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent
  • The ability to type, maintain records, and file accurately
  • Computer experience and proficiency in relevant software applications
  • Strong clerical skills, including filing and data entry
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to direct and redirect students in a confident manner
  • A positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to work as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in an educational setting or administrative role
  • Familiarity with student information systems and other relevant software applications
  • Experience working with diverse populations, including students, parents, and staff
