Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Home Delivery Pharmacy Technician - Remote to join our team. As a fully remote team member, you will have the opportunity to work from the comfort of your own home in Illinois or Iowa, providing exceptional customer service and support to our patients and members. This is an immediate opening, and we are excited to welcome a new team member who shares our passion for delivering high-quality care and making a positive impact on the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

• Interpret providers' prescriptions and create orders, assessing, inputting, and retrieving prescription, medical/lab, and reimbursement information from computer systems.
• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to inbound and outbound member/patient calls, and addressing their concerns in a professional and empathetic manner.
• Prepare and scan documents, verify member/patient data, and submit prescription orders in computer systems.
• Contact members/patients/providers to validate data, request payment information, and establish priority of order or delivery details.
• Apply knowledge and skills to a range of moderately complex activities, demonstrating great depth of knowledge/skills in own function.
• Act as a technical resource to others in own function, proactively identifying solutions to non-standard requests and solving moderately complex problems independently.
• Plan, prioritize, organize, and complete work to meet established objectives, providing a holistic approach to case management.
• Contribute to updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and team content, ensuring that all processes are accurate and up-to-date.
• Collaborate with team members to solve complex problems, sharing knowledge and expertise to achieve common goals.

Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma/GED (or higher).
• Certification: Active National Pharmacy Technician Certification (ExCPT or PTCB) or ability to obtain prior to start date.
• Experience: 1 year of experience working in a retail pharmacy.
• Location: Reside in Illinois or Iowa.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous Health Care Experience: Experience working in healthcare, either in a pharmacy or other clinical setting.
• Call-center or Telephonic Work: Experience working in a call center or telephonic environment.
