Job Overview

As a Customer Service Associate at blithequark, you'll play a vital role in creating an exceptional first impression for our guests, educating them on our services, and ensuring they have a great experience. You'll be responsible for processing payments, loading vehicles safely onto the conveyor, and maintaining a clean and safe work area. Key Responsibilities

  • Greet guests and create an exceptional first impression for all visitors
  • Educate guests on single wash, upgrades, and membership packages, and offer and sell blithequark Monthly Unlimited Wash Memberships and Single Wash Packages
  • Process payments and ensure all vehicles are loaded safely and correctly onto the conveyor
  • Prep vehicles within company guidelines and verify all vehicles are blithequark clean in the Quality Control area
  • Provide excellent service to ensure all guests have a great experience and maintain a safe and clean work area
  • Perform after-hours site cleaning and maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming
  • Follow company safety protocol and be a team player, exercising good judgment and making decisions consistent with job functions

Essential Qualifications

We're looking for individuals with a combination of experiences in car wash, retail, and guest service industries, although this is not necessary. You should have the ability to adapt to a high-volume retail environment, work varied hours and days, and demonstrate a willingness to improve through training. Excellent communication and relationship-building skills are essential, as well as the ability to maintain the highest level of service and follow company safety protocol.

Preferred Qualifications

While not required, previous experience in a customer-facing role, particularly in the car wash or retail industry, would be an asset. You should be flexible, able to work in a team environment, and demonstrate a positive attitude and a willingness to learn and grow with our company.

Skills and Competencies

To succeed in this role, you'll need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build great relationships with guests and co-workers. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of productivity. Additionally, you'll need to be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand or walk for long periods, and operate related equipment.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16.00 - $18.00, plus commission and incentives, as well as a $500 sign-on bonus after 90 days of continuous employment. Our benefits package includes medical, dental, vision, critical illness, and accident insurance plans, as well as a 401k with employer matching.
