About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Tesla Assembly Line Production Associate to join our team. As a Production Associate, you will play a critical role in the manufacturing process, ensuring that our electric vehicles meet the highest standards of quality and reliability. Key Responsibilities

  • Gather, test, and troubleshoot inverter assemblies to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Create and modify parts as needed to support test tools and prototypes
  • Test prototypes and evaluate and report test results to the engineering team
  • Support trials and special engineering builds on the production line
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including design, engineering, and production, to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving
  • Utilize mechanical aptitude to dismantle and reassemble components without instructions
  • Demonstrate thorough attention to detail with strong documentation and reporting skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and computer programming education

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to work with mechanical systems
  • Experience with metal working and general manufacturing skills, including knowledge of power tools, pneumatic equipment, and machine shop operations
  • Familiarity with electrical hazards, including high-voltage equipment and rotating machinery
  • Ability to use basic electrical tools, such as multimeters and meg-ohm testers
  • Basic wiring knowledge and ability to connect sensors, power supplies, and data acquisition systems to test stages
  • Interest in electric motors and high-voltage power equipment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and as part of a team
