About the XPRIZE Healthspan Competition

We're seeking an experienced Team Relations Manager to play a crucial role in the success of the XPRIZE Healthspan, a $101 million global competition aimed at revolutionizing the way we approach human aging. This competition is a significant opportunity to bring together innovators, researchers, and industry experts to develop groundbreaking solutions that can improve human healthspan.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead external communications with competing prize teams, partners, and the larger prize community, ensuring seamless collaboration and information exchange.
  • Participate in the recruitment of competitive teams and provide ongoing management and support via various communications tools.
  • Create engaging content for prize newsletters, blogs, and online presentations to keep teams informed and motivated.
  • Prepare and execute webinars, workshops, and other events to facilitate knowledge sharing and community building among teams.
  • Track and maintain data on teams, providing regular status reports and insights to inform competition strategy.
  • Liaise with IT to implement and customize the Prize Operations Platform (POP) for team recruitment and engagement.
  • Support the development and execution of the team recruitment strategy in coordination with operations and marketing teams.
  • Address complex technical topics and questions related to the XPRIZE Healthspan, collaborating with the team to provide expert guidance.
  • Manage teams at events, including testing and conferences, ensuring a smooth and productive experience.
  • Organize internal meetings and identify opportunities to participate in industry events to drive participation in the prize.

Essential Qualifications

  • 4-6 years of relevant professional experience in managing external communities, project management, competitions, or related projects.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Proven experience in community management, with a strong track record of building and maintaining effective relationships with external partners and communities.
  • Experience managing and customizing technology platforms, with a willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and systems.
  • Excellent business and technical writing, as well as professional verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, and situational awareness, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Direct experience and knowledge in the domains of healthcare, clinical research, and/or longevity, although not mandatory.
  • A curious and motivated individual with a keen interest in learning more about the rapidly expanding world of Healthspan.
  • Ability to lead or co-lead speaking engagements, senior-level meetings, webinars, and workshops.
