As a key member of the Talent Office, you will be responsible for providing critical sports industry insights and information to support the team's negotiation and business matters.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day sports industry information lead for the Talent Office, staying up-to-date on the latest news, trends, and developments in the sports world.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of ESPN's content, including the cadence of specific sport calendars and the usage of talent across various platforms.
  • Prepare comprehensive and succinct written briefings for Talent-related meetings, providing critical insights and analysis to support business decisions.
  • Foster strong relationships with talent and their representatives, identifying and assisting with their needs while traveling and on campus.
  • Communicate effectively and efficiently with the Talent Office team, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
  • Demonstrate a high level of trust and confidentiality when working with sensitive information daily.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a Talent Office, Sports Industry, or Sports Information role, with a proven track record of providing critical insights and support.
  • A high level of trust and confidentiality to work with sensitive information daily.
  • Strong industry contacts and a deep understanding of the sports industry.
  • The ability to multi-task and handle multiple projects simultaneously, with excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with various stakeholders.
  • A strong work ethic and a collaborative mindset, with a willingness to work as part of a dynamic team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience or roles related to sports information, with a deep understanding of the industry and its key players.
  • A professional and diplomatic approach when dealing with internal and external personalities.

What We Offer

As a Talent Information Specialist at ESPN, you will be rewarded with a competitive salary, ranging from $57,810 to $77,550 per year, based on a 40-hour work week. You will also be eligible for a bonus and/or long-term incentive units, as part of a comprehensive compensation package.
