This key role will be responsible for designing and implementing our Data Platform, leveraging cutting-edge cloud tools and services to drive scalability, efficiency, and innovation.

About the Role

As a Senior System Data Architect, you will be at the forefront of building our Data Platform, focusing on Chips, Boards, and Data Center operations. Your expertise will be crucial in evaluating cloud tools and services, designing a highly scalable data lake, and implementing streaming pipelines for real-time analytics. You'll work closely with our team to enable a self-service and Machine Learning platform for individual business units, ensuring seamless integration and management of data across different entities and IT systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and Implementation: Lead the design and implementation of the Data Platform for Operations, including Chips, Boards, and Data Center.
• Cloud Tools and Services Evaluation: Assess and recommend cloud tools and services to inform the data platform architecture.
• Scalable Data Lake: Design and implement a highly scalable data lake to handle large volumes of data.
• Streaming Pipelines: Develop streaming pipelines for efficient data storage and real-time analytics.
• Data Processing Frameworks: Design data processing frameworks to extract, validate, transform, and store data in the Data Lake.
• Self-Service and Machine Learning: Enable a self-service and Machine Learning platform for business units to drive insights and decision-making.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Oversee Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, and AI & Client Operations to facilitate faster time-to-market solutions.
• Collaboration and Project Management: Work with partners and team members in project planning, resource estimation, delivery management, and project execution.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent experience with programming knowledge (Python, Java, Database architectures, etc.).
• 10+ years of relevant experience in data architecture, data science, or a similar role.
• Proven experience building large, geographically dispersed infrastructure supporting business-critical cloud and on-premises services.
• Operational experience at scale, designing and operating highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems using best-of-breed technologies.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, and Spark or Ray environments.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Knowledge of operational processes in semi-chips, boards, systems, and servers with a view of the data landscape.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP systems integration, Datamart, Business objects, Tableau, and SQL.
• A strong ability to drive continuous improvement of systems and processes.
