As a Social Media Content Moderator, you will play a critical role in ensuring that user-generated content on our clients' platforms meets community guidelines and standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Review user-generated content on social media platforms to ensure compliance with community guidelines and standards
  • Classify and eliminate sensitive content, including graphic images, videos, and written content, according to client-defined parameters
  • Participate in frequent refresher training to stay up-to-date on client policies and procedures
  • Investigate and resolve complex issues regarding content within agreed-upon turnaround times and quality standards
  • Comply with corporate confidentiality policies and ensure the secure handling of customer information
  • Provide trends and insights to develop improvements to overall processes and recommend changes to policies, procedures, and products
  • Stay current with key workflow changes, operational guidelines, policy updates, and community standards

Essential Qualifications

  • Ability to work on-site at our El Paso, Texas location
  • Experience navigating internet websites, including social media and commercial websites
  • Strong emotional intelligence and resilience in handling sensitive and potentially offensive content
  • Attention to detail and ability to focus on complex tasks
  • Logical problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Availability to work various shifts, including days, evenings, and weekends
  • Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Windows operating systems and ability to use multiple windows and programs simultaneously
  • Ability to type 25 words per minute
  • High school graduate or equivalent (proof required)
  • Predictable and reliable attendance

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 months of customer service experience
  • Proven oral and written communication skills
  • Organization and work prioritization skills
  • Experience working in a team environment and collaborating with colleagues
