A law firm specializing in natural resources and environmental law is seeking a motivated Associate Attorney with 2–4 years of experience in water rights litigation to join its Boulder, Colorado office. This position offers the opportunity to contribute to complex cases involving water, air, and public agency issues, with a focus on addressing the pressing challenges of the western region.

Duties

  • Manage litigation cases, including water rights litigation, particularly in Colorado Water Court.
  • Provide legal counsel in regulatory and administrative law matters.
  • Collaborate on natural resource and public agency cases.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, and develop strategies for complex litigation.

Requirements

  • 2–4 years of law firm or government experience.
  • Experience in litigation, regulatory matters, or administrative law.
  • Preferred experience in natural resources, water law, and public agency law.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and collaboration skills.

Education

  • Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications

  • Active membership in the State Bar of Colorado.
