Job Summary

We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated individual to join our team as a Data Entry Specialist on a part-time remote basis. As a Data Entry Specialist, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records essential to our operations. You will be responsible for accurately inputting and updating data into designated databases and systems, reviewing data for errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies, and collaborating with team members to ensure data entry tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.

Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Specialist at blithequark, you will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Accurately input and update data into designated databases and systems, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
  • Review data for errors, inconsistencies, and discrepancies, and correct errors promptly to maintain data accuracy.
  • Perform regular data audits to identify and correct errors, and ensure compliance with data entry standards and guidelines.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure data entry tasks are completed efficiently and accurately, and to resolve any issues or discrepancies that may arise.
  • Adhere to data entry standards and guidelines to maintain consistency and accuracy across all databases.
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information, and adhere to blithequark's data protection policies and procedures.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in data entry or related administrative roles, with a strong understanding of data entry software and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Excel).
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy, with a strong commitment to delivering exceptional results.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote team environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
