Key Responsibilities

As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor at blithequark, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Navigating efficiently and effectively through our imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry.
  • Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Identifying specific document types that require special handling and processing them accordingly.
  • Collaborating with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times and meeting client expectations.
  • Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements, demonstrating your flexibility and adaptability.

Additional Responsibilities

In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to:

  • Perform quality reviews of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines, promoting a culture of excellence and accuracy.
  • Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed, demonstrating your commitment to the team's success.
  • Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies, ensuring that any problems are addressed promptly and efficiently.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, demonstrating your foundational knowledge and skills.
  • Experience: 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role, showcasing your ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
    • Strong data entry/typing skills, with the ability to achieve high levels of accuracy and productivity.
    • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring that all work is completed accurately and thoroughly.
    • High degree of accuracy, with the ability to meet the required 98% accuracy rate and 8,200 KSPH.
