Job Summary: A Unique Opportunity for Growth and Development

We're seeking a driven, motivated, and eager individual to join our team as an Assistant Center Director. This role offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, inspire a love for math in children, and contribute to the success of our center. As an Assistant Center Director, you will support the Center Director in administering student assessments, developing student learning plans, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities: Driving Success and Excellence

As an Assistant Center Director, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Center Director in administering student assessments and developing student learning plans
  • Assisting with sales responsibilities, including promptly responding to leads and successfully enrolling students
  • Providing exceptional customer service by building relationships with families and communicating student progress
  • Leading and coaching team members to effectively deliver individualized instruction in a group setting
  • Managing students' learning progress and engagement throughout instructional sessions
  • Mentoring and supporting employee development by providing on-the-job training to instructional staff
  • Teaching/tutoring in-center, online, and/or via hybrid delivery using the Mathnasium Method, terminology, and teaching practices
  • Becoming proficient with digital educational materials and processes
  • Supporting the maintenance of a safe and professional learning environment
  • Assisting with administrative tasks as needed

Essential Qualifications: A Strong Foundation for Success

To succeed as an Assistant Center Director, you will need:

  • A passion for math and working with students
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Eagerness to learn and be trained
  • Ability to cultivate teamwork and balance education and sales responsibilities
  • Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I
  • Proficiency in computer skills
  • Availability Monday through Thursday 2:30 PM to 7:30 PM and Saturdays 9:30 AM to 1:30 PM (22+ hours a week)

Preferred Qualifications: Standing Out from the Crowd

While not essential, the following qualifications are highly desirable:

  • Previous experience in education or leadership roles
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with digital educational materials and processes
