Job Summary

As a Data Entry Technician, you will perform a variety of administrative tasks, including data entry, record-keeping, and communication. You will work independently in a remote setting, using standard office equipment and software. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and organizational skills, be detail-oriented and conscientious, and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform data entry tasks, including typing, scanning, and imaging documents
  • Maintain departmental logs, spreadsheets, and databases
  • Monitor supply stock and order supplies as needed
  • Assist other staff members with related tasks on an as-needed basis
  • Sort and distribute incoming departmental mail or work requests
  • Check workflow reports to ensure required data is available
  • Request missing documentation on a case-by-case basis
  • Output, picture, and list reports
  • Prepare correspondence or packages for internal/external mailing

Requirements and Qualifications

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent required; high school diploma or equivalent also accepted
  • No prior work experience required; training will be provided

Skills and Competencies

  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Conscientious and detail-oriented
  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting
  • Proficiency in standard office software and equipment
