Post Office Counter Clerk – Amazon Store
We have an exciting opportuinty for the right candidate to join our post office team, this will be a permament part-time position
The right candidate will need to be able to cover the other team member's annual leave and sickness
Main duties will include
- Ensure that the presentation of the post office counter is maintained to a high standard
- Greet each customer in a warm and friendly manner
- Handle customer queries in a polite and professional manner
- Provide postal services (including selling stamps and dealing with letters and parcels) in line with operational guidelines
- Process payments for pensions, benefits and dealing with bill payments
- Process travel insurance and foreign currency at the request of the customer Handle cash reconciliation accurately and efficiently
- Monitor stationery supplies and ensure replacements are ordered
- Provide support to the pharmacy team by assisting with serving customers at the counter when required and maintaining general housekeeping.
- Take on additional tasks and duties within reasonable request.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: £12.75 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week

- Post office: 1 year (required)
