Job Summary

As a Customer Support Loader at Lowe's, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, loading merchandise into customers' vehicles, and maintaining a safe and organized store environment. Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service: Engage with customers in a helpful and polite manner, providing guidance and solving issues they may have.
  • Merchandise Loading and Stocking: Load merchandise into customers' vehicles, and restock shelves to maintain a safe and organized store environment.
  • Merchandise Handling: Obtain, transport, and re-stock merchandise, using proper lifting techniques and safety precautions.
  • Safe and Dependable Assistance: Provide safe and dependable assistance in moving merchandise for all parties.
  • Travel Requirements: Occasional travel may be required for attending meetings, trainings, or to offer assistance to nearby stores.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications

  • Computer Skills: Ability to use a computer, predominantly in executing data-related assignments such as data inputting, modifying, accessing, and outputting.
  • Retail Technology Equipment: Six-months' worth of expertise using widely-used retail technology equipment such as smartphones and tablets.
  • Sales-Related Licensure or Registration: Ability to obtain sales-related licensure or registration is a necessary competence in the field.
  • Lifting and Physical Demands: Ability to lift 25 pounds unassisted, with the potential to lift more with or without aid.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Retail Experience: Six months of experience in the retail sector, preferably in a home improvement or hardware retailer.
  • Lowe's Retail Store Experience: Six-month-long experience working in any department at a Lowe's retail store.
  • Retail Merchandising Experience: Six-month-long experience in retail merchandising, with exposure to numerous responsibilities, including Zone Recovery, stocking, down stocking, facing/fronting product, pricing, maintaining signage, and housekeeping.
