Key Responsibilities and Duties

As an Overnight Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for:

  • Making outbound and receiving inbound calls to provide timely solutions to customers
  • Consistently and accurately documenting all information pertaining to accounts
  • Using basic business math to solve problems and provide accurate loan approvals
  • Speaking clearly, concisely, and effectively to customers, while listening to and understanding their concerns
  • Maintaining a professional demeanor and sensitivity when speaking to customers, even in tense situations
  • Following written and/or verbal instructions to ensure compliance with laws, rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
  • Processing card payments accurately and efficiently
  • Performing the initial approval of potential borrowers by thoroughly examining their applications through multiple software systems
  • Reviewing applicants to evaluate their eligibility for loan
  • Following up with customers to clarify important points and finalize loan details
  • Remaining up-to-date regarding lending and other financial services
  • Creating and renewing records to ensure accurate customer information
  • Identifying customer needs and exploring all options available to customers
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and adapt quickly to changing company needs
  • Ability to multi-task by speaking with customers and typing notes simultaneously
  • Meeting monthly individual goals as set by management

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

* Minimum of High school diploma/GED

  • Excellent Customer Service skills
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to remain calm and courteous under pressure and navigate tense situations
  • Proficient with technology, especially computers, software applications, and phone systems
  • Preferred Education and/or Experience:

+ Minimum of 1-2 years of customer service experience in a financial institution or related field + Technical Skills: - Proficient use of MS: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook - Proficient user of the Internet and cloud-based storage
