Key Responsibilities

As a Customer Service Representative on our Chat Support Team, you'll be responsible for:

  • Engaging with customers via chat to resolve their inquiries and issues promptly, providing accurate information about products, orders, shipping, and returns.
  • Assisting customers with troubleshooting technical problems and guiding them through solutions, utilizing available resources and tools to efficiently resolve customer concerns.
  • Maintaining professionalism and empathy in all customer interactions, while collaborating with team members and supervisors to improve processes and customer satisfaction.
  • Responding to customer inquiries in a timely manner, meeting or exceeding set targets for chat support, and demonstrating excellent written communication skills to effectively convey information and solutions.
  • Adhering to company policies and procedures while addressing customer needs, and escalating complex issues to appropriate channels for resolution.
  • Keeping accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, and utilizing technical proficiency and problem-solving skills to troubleshoot basic technical issues.

Key Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • Previous customer service experience, preferably in a chat or online support environment, with a strong understanding of customer needs and expectations.
  • Excellent written communication skills, with proficiency in typing and grammar, and the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to multitask and navigate between multiple chat conversations efficiently, with a high level of attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a team, with a willingness to collaborate and contribute to process improvements.
  • Technical proficiency and ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues, with a strong understanding of computer software and hardware.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred, with a focus on customer service, communications, or a related field.
