Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to inbound inquiries from applicants via phone, email, and chat, providing effective communication and problem-solving skills to resolve their queries.
  • Offer technical assistance to applicants, enabling them to complete their applications smoothly and efficiently.
  • Navigate our computerized system to respond to and troubleshoot applicants' questions, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks as needed.
  • Show strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and understanding when interacting with applicants from varied cultural, socioeconomic, educational, and experiential backgrounds.
  • Stay knowledgeable about our application programs and continuously update your knowledge to provide exceptional applicant support.
  • Identify areas for improvement in our workflows and suggest solutions to enhance our customer service experience.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience, with a proven track record of effective communication, both orally and in writing.
  • Technical savviness and the ability to learn new systems and processes quickly.
  • Strong ability to work independently and adapt to new challenges with a positive and flexible attitude.
  • Excellent organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to manage a high volume of activity (phone, email, and chat).
  • U.S. work authorization.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual abilities (English/Chinese (Mandarin)/Spanish).
  • Availability to work a 6 am-3 pm schedule.
