Systems Analyst

ECS is seeking a Systems Analyst to work remotely in support of Uncrewed Systems (UxS) Operations Center based out of our Silver Spring, MD office.

Candidate must coordinate UxS activities with all NOAA line offices and facilitate outreach to the public regarding NOAA UxS missions. This includes working with stakeholders both internal and external to NOAA that use or desire to use UxS to meet mission requirements.

Salary Range: $30 – $39/hr.

General Description of Benefits

Responsible for producing NOAA-wide and Center-specific UxS outreach and communication products focused on the progress and value of NOAA UxS activities. Key duties include:

• Create and update content for UxS Ops Center website and other mediums aligned with the Center’s strategic plan and timely topics related to UxS use at NOAA.
• Manage, coordinate, and support Center presence at outreach events; including creating products and tools that help build capacity for such events.
• Support creation of consensus driven, cross-agency communication products and response to taskers.
• Build capacity to create visually appealing and accessible communication products for external audiences.

Responsible for coordinating UxS activities with all NOAA line offices, and developing and overseeing activities that support NOAA UxS operations. Key duties include:

• Support cross-organizational bodies such as the Executive Oversight Board (EOB).
• Facilitate dialogue across stakeholders internal and external to NOAA who share an interest in using UxS to meet NOAA’s mission.
• Build capacity and strengthen career pipelines for the Center by supporting internship, scholarship, and fellowship recipients.
