Software Engineer
Microsoft's Windows Servicing Division (WSD) is seeking a highly driven Software Engineer to join the Update Publishing Services (UPS) team. This role focuses on modernizing business-critical services, providing CI/CD capabilities for agile and just-in-time updates to over a billion users. You'll be responsible for all aspects of service execution and lifecycle, innovating while maintaining daily operations, and contributing to a multi-discipline team building tools, defining workflows, and designing features for large-scale distributed release systems.
Requirements
- Legally authorized to work in Ireland
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python
- Demonstrated understanding of software engineering principles such as abstraction and inversion of control, with the ability to apply them to develop testable, reliable, and maintainable code in one or more of the following languages: C#, C++/C, Python, or Java
