Senior Tax Accountant (AU Accounting Firm, WFH)

Salary: P120,000- P130,000 (Monthly Package)

Schedule: Monday – Friday (06:00 AM - 03:00 PM PHT)

What are we looking for?

Skills Required:

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in Australian Public Practice is preferred, demonstrated equivalent commercial experience may be considered.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant subject: CA/CPA qualified.
• Thorough knowledge of accepted accounting practices and principles. Australian Standards.
• Demonstrated technical abilities and experience in using MYOB AE, Excel Microsoft Outlook, QuickBooks, MYOB Account Right and Xero. ATO Portal
• Thorough knowledge of applicable business and tax laws, codes and regulations. Able to understand and complete a Division 7A Loan Reconciliation workpaper
• Experience in completing Australian tax returns for individuals, trust, companies and partnerships.

What will you do?

• Compile and analyse financial information to prepare financial statements for Sole Traders, Companies and Trusts, including monthly, quarterly and annual BAS’s and income tax returns
• Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Provide matters for consideration for review by Managers/Directors
• Agree all workflow deadlines before commencing work and ensure these deadlines are met
• Complete all workpaper files before providing for review
• Check taxation and other correspondence before submitting to Managers/Directors
• Research taxation matters and communicate findings with Managers/Directors
• Delegate and supervise appropriate work to Intermediates/Graduates.
• Mentor Intermediates/ Graduates
• Assist in preparing advisory based services to clients
