About the Job

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you will be responsible for leading the development of highly complex applications, integrating various cross-platform systems, and supporting other personnel in resolving complex programming problems. You will play a key role in planning and delivery of application development, system customization, and enhancement, and will analyze, review, document, and recommend modification of programs to increase operating efficiencies, enhance user experience, and adapt to new requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Designing, architecting, developing, debugging, testing, and implementing highly complex applications
• Integrating various cross-platform systems, which may be legacy systems or third-party products
• Supporting other personnel, including business users and IT personnel, in resolving complex programming problems
• Playing a lead role in planning and delivery of application development, system customization, and enhancement
• Analyzing, reviewing, documenting, and recommending modification of programs to increase operating efficiencies, enhance user experience, and adapt to new requirements
• Developing, maintaining, and executing site analysis and reporting processes, which may include security and detection software items, taking appropriate actions where necessary
• Working with external vendors on software integrations, changes, and implementations of new software solutions
• Coordinating with the technical architect and applications architect to develop, troubleshoot, and implement innovative solutions
• Overseeing documentation of processes, applications, APIs, and techniques to ensure proper knowledge transfer and re-use
• Creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards throughout the development team to maintain quality and maintainability of our applications
• Leading code review sessions, offering suggestions for improvements, and tutoring other developers in a paired or mob programming environment
• Determining and aligning workflow needs for web development team's highest priorities by reviewing incidents and change requests from the ServiceDesk
• Serving as the liaison to other IT teams and business units, to ensure proper sharing of information and synchronization of strategies

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• 5+ years of IT development experience using four or more of the preferred qualifications
• A Bachelor's degree strongly preferred

Preferred Qualifications

We are looking for candidates with experience in the following areas:

• 3 or more years of experience with React and Node.js
• HTML/CSS/Javascript
• Experience with an IDE such as Eclipse or VS Code
• AWS/DynamoDB/AWS Lambda
• SQL
• Java/Java EE/RAD/Websphere
• RESTful and SOAP-based web services
• Git
• Knowledge of Agile and Scrum methodologies
