Job Summary

As a Lead DevOps Engineer on our TechOps team, you'll play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud native solutions, including Kubernetes, Linux, and OpenShift. You'll work closely with our development teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery of our products and services. Your expertise in DevOps practices, CI/CD tools, and cloud native solutions will help us drive innovation and excellence in our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and maintain our Kubernetes infrastructure, including OpenShift, Farmer, and Tanzu
  • Provide technical leadership for "Kubernetes as a Service" offerings for internal clients
  • Implement GitOps practices to automate cluster provisioning, deployment, and day 2 lifecycle management
  • Ensure security policies are enforced and compliant across our infrastructure
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Kubernetes objects, including deployments, pods, and services
  • Manage Linux system administration on physical and virtual servers
  • Develop scripts to automate workflows and processes
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure smooth integration and delivery of products and services

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Industry experience with cloud native solutions, containerization, and DevOps practices
  • Expertise in Kubernetes, OpenShift, and Linux
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and ArgoCD
  • Experience with automation tools, such as Ansible and AWX
  • Scripting skills in Python, Shell, and YAML
  • Knowledge of networking, security, and containerization technologies

Preferred Qualifications

  • Red Hat OpenShift certifications and Kubernetes certifications, such as CKA, CKD, or CKS
  • Experience with ServiceNow, Jira, and Infoblox
  • Familiarity with PPDM backup tools, Velero, and MiniIO
