Key Responsibilities

As an IT Business Analyst with Delta Airlines, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Providing IT administration of expert services, project management, and support to ensure the operational sustainability of critical infrastructure supporting Delta's airport communication spaces.
• Managing IT services for all site implementations, inventories, infrastructure planning, and preventive maintenance of server farm critical infrastructure, IT labs, and remote communication room critical environment hardware.
• Supporting IT labs to balance client application and engineering groups with workstations, equipment, and access to test their applications.
• Coordinating with professional services responsible for critical infrastructure support and break-fix activities at remote communication rooms.
• Managing, operating, maintaining, and monitoring all critical facilities systems for server farm and remote communication room equipment.
• Developing server farm and remote communication room standards for space, power, cooling, and physical layer IT infrastructure.
• Supporting the IT Operations ground fiber ring to maintain the integrity and service continuity of the Atlanta airport and ground facilities underground fiber ring.
• Recommending and implementing departmental policies, procedures, and standards.
• Ensuring compliance with all governing corporate standards and policies.
• Managing projects for server farm and remote communication room standards capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements.
• Sourcing IT and critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors meet their contractual obligations.

Essential Qualifications

To succeed as an IT Business Analyst with Delta Airlines, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of server farm technology and critical facilities infrastructure.
• Experience in project management of remote communication room standards capital enhancements, upgrades, and improvements.
• Capital budgeting and project management for airport critical equipment life cycle replacement.
• Support for Corporate Land projects that engage with remote communication room design/work as an IT Operations agent and on-site evaluation reporting.
• Space, UPS Power, and critical cooling capacity management.
• Selection of critical facilities services, ensuring accurate documentation, obtaining best prices for products and services, and ensuring that vendors meet their contractual obligations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize multiple needs within established time imperatives.
• Flexibility to support an operation with fluctuating movements, extended hours, and availability to come in to work requirements.

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:

• A four-year college education or 5 or more years of relevant experience.
• IT Project Management experience (at least 2 years) within a high-availability communication room or potentially server farm operating environment, everyday functional requirements, and the operation of production systems and equipment.
