Part-Time Program Assistant - Senior Center EXAMPLES OF DUTIES: Assists in the planning, coordination, and implementation of a variety of activities, programs, and special events at the Senior Center. Creates flyers, posters and social media notices to inform the public of programs and services. Performs manual labor in providing program/room set up, assists with meals delivery programs and special occasion meal events, and in operating the senior van. Assists residents in the use of the facility, answers questions, provides front desk coverage. MIN. QUALIFICATIONS: Associates Degree in Gerontology, Sociology, Leisure Studies, Recreation or related field, or Activities Director Certification; program development and delivery experience preferably serving the needs of the elderly population (Bachelor Degree may replace 2 years of experience); or equivalent combination of education and Experience. Must Be Dependable, Have Excellent Customer Service Skills, and be physically able to perform light manual labor. COMPENSATION: Grade 4 Non-Union Pay Scale (full range \$22.41/hr to \$29.41/hr, Hiring Range \$22.41/hr to \$24.13/hr DOQ), 19 hours per week during senior center operating hours (Mon ?
