Job Summary

We are seeking a Title Closer to work remotely, with the possibility of returning to the office once COVID restrictions are lifted. The successful candidate will be responsible for reviewing, processing, and closing real estate transactions, including coordinating closing dates, reviewing title commitments, and preparing settlement statements. Key Responsibilities

• Review title commitments/preliminary reports, relay curative requirements to parties involved, and research as necessary
• Coordinate closing dates with parties to the transaction
• Review closing instructions and documents from lenders and prepare settlement statements accordingly
• Obtain signatures for closing transactions, provide brief explanations of all documents executed by the Buyer/Borrower and Seller, and facilitate the answer of all questions from clients
• Balance the file and assist accounting periodically in reviewing escrow accounting reports to resolve any outstanding checks and open file balances

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

• 1+ year of experience in a related field, preferably in title and escrow production
• Sound proficiency and knowledge of MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, etc.)
• Exceptional client and customer service skills
• Strong organizational, listening, verbal, and written communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to exercise broad conceptual judgment, initiative, and ability to deal with complex issues
• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, and customers

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Proficiency with title and closing production systems (SoftPro or Resware)
• Escrow License (although this is not required, as our client may assist with the licensing process in the future)
• Experience working with SoftPro or Resware

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $68,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition to your salary, you will also be eligible for a range of benefits, including:
